Arqom Market Intelligence maintains a transparent distinction between corrections to the published record and subsequent analytical updates resulting from new information. Material errors are not silently rewritten.
No material corrections, restatements or withdrawals recorded.
This record is current as at establishment of the Version 1.0 framework. Minor typographical, formatting or other non-substantive amendments that do not alter factual or analytical meaning are not ordinarily recorded publicly.
Record principle
The public record distinguishes an error in the original publication from new information that became available only after the original editorial cut-off.
Classification
Material changes are classified according to their effect on the published analytical record.
Minor Editorial Correction
Non-substantive formatting, typographical or drafting correction that does not alter factual or analytical meaning.
Substantive Correction
Correction of a factual statement, figure, attribution or substantive wording that does not necessarily alter the central analytical conclusion.
Material Correction
Correction affecting a central fact, key calculation, risk assessment, scenario or substantive analytical conclusion.
Analytical Update
Subsequent information changes the assessment even though the original publication reasonably reflected information available at the original cut-off.
Restatement
A substantial portion of the publication requires revision because the original evidentiary or analytical basis was materially defective.
Withdrawal
The publication should no longer be relied upon because a sufficiently serious defect has been identified.
What a correction record contains
Where a material correction or substantive update is required, the public record should identify the publication title and ID, original publication date and version, action date, new version, classification, nature of the change and whether the central analytical conclusion changed.
Internally, Arqom also preserves the original published version and the evidence supporting the correction or update decision.
Historical analytical integrity
A later correct assessment is not substituted for an earlier forecast in a way that creates artificial foresight. Forecast revisions, analytical updates and factual corrections are treated as different events.
